Terms and Conditions

Life Himalaya Trekking Company registered having registration number 147491/072/073 and tourism licence number 2069 . These booking terms and condition are very important for legally binding contract between with you and Life Himalaya trekking. It is extremely important to read and understand these terms and condition.

Important note: 

These terms and condition are strictly applied from the booking date. For third party booking these terms and condition does not applied, but their terms and conditions are applied. So for security, please read their terms and condition.

Booking and payment policy:  For booking process you must pay 200 USD PP which is non-refundable, at the time of booking. We also need the scanned copy of your passports and three passport size photos. During the payment bank service charge should be paid by client at the time of deposit. You must pay remaining amount at our head office or representative, before starting your trip. Life Himalaya have full right to cancel your trip if you do not clear your remaining amount upon your arrival.

Paying Methods for Deposit:

For all the payment methods, bank will charge extra 3.5% of total payment and applicable to the guests.

a. Online Payment System ( Visa / Mastercard / only)

We have started the online payment system in our website from 1st Jan 2018, where you can deposit the payment amount directly in our bank account. It is a secured payment system provided by our bank in Nepal. It is an easy to pay as well as cancellation. (CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE PAYMENT NOW)

b. Credit card payment (master card and visa card only)

For using card payment method you must fill up this form (Click here to download credit card form). All extra charges during payment method is client's responsibility.

Last minute Booking: Life Himalaya Team will accept last minute booing for any Nepal trips but for Last minute booking you must pay all amount during booking process.

Trip Cancellation and refund: If you cancel any of your trips that has been booked with us then you must send us cancellation documentation or e-mail. If you pay full amount before the trip then following conditions will be apply during cancellation.

For Tour, Trekking and Hiking:- 

  • 90% will be refund of your total payment, 30 days before trip departure.
  • 70% will be refund of your total payment, 15-30 days before trip departure.
  • 50% will be refund of your total payment, 7-15 days before trip departure. 
  • No refund, 7 days or less before trip departure
Expedition and Peak climbing:-
  • 50 % will be refund of your total payment, 6 weeks before trip departure.   
  • 30 % will be refund of your total payment, 3 weeks before trip departure. 
  • No refund, 3 weeks or less before trek departure.
Incomplete Trip: The paid amount will not refund if you leave your trip by any reason and also for unused accommodation, meal and services. 

Flight delays and Change in Itinerary: The itinerary and flight can be change because of the unexpected obstacles like war, strikes, natural disaster, unfavorable climates etc. In these situation the extra cost should be pay by clients.

Nepal Passport and Visas: All clients must have legal passport and Visa which is valid up to 6 months from the issued date. Visa will be issue upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport and all entry point of Nepal. The cost for Visa is client’s responsibility. 

Responsibility: Providing you a best service is our main motto. So we will carry out our responsibility for making your trip enjoyable and unforgettable.

Affecting factors: We will do our best for your comfort during your trek but it is important to understand that Himalayan regions cannot afford facilities like the ones you might be accustomed in your countries. Weather is another important and sometimes random factor that directly affects comfort on your journey. Hence, patience and understanding, passion for life, eagerness and proper preparation are all very important personal qualities that you must bring with you.

Personal belongings: The trip leader and staffs  do their best to keep safe your personal stuffs. But if in case of loss of your personal belongings our company will not be responsible for your loss. 

Guaranteed Trip Departure:  If you book with us then your trip departure will not change even if number of groups size decrease. We will guarantee for your trip departure.

Travel Insurance: Before joining our trips you must have your insurance. The insurance must include medical coverage, air ambulance, and helicopter rescue services. If you do not have any insurance then you are not allowed to join any of our trips. 

Complaints: if you wants to complaints about our trip leaders, guide and staffs, you can and Life Himalaya will seriously take further strong  action according to your complaints.
