Putha Himchuli Peak (7,246 m) is located in the mid-west of Nepal in Dhaulagiri Range; the expedition was first ascent in 1954 by British team. Set in extraordinarily vivid backdrop to the west of Annapurna and South of Ganesh Himal, Putha Himchuli stands in a chain of the world's most imposing peaks of individual splendor of Dhaulagiri Range. Putha Himchuli is the westernmost peak in the cornerstone of Dhaulagiri range and the preceding of glaciated peaks at the far west reaches of this range. Putha Himchuli offers many possible routes that can be explored and the climbing is technically challenging. The climb is challenging but technically not difficult. It is one of nicest ridge climbs with the snow covered ridge over 2km long. Putha Himchuli is known also as Dhaulagiri VII.

The route fallows from Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – Dolpo (Juphal) by flight and trek to Dunai, Tarakot, Musikhola, Kagkot, Yak khark and Base camp of Putha Himchuli base camp. Base camp to Camp 1 on moraine, Put up cairns for path as it is little difficult to find it. Normally put up Camp1 at beginning of glacier. From Camp1 to Camp 2, it is possible to use ski, and not many crevasses. Route quite clear, set up camp on rock band. On summit day from 5,700m, they leave early in the morning about 4 A.M. And weather should be clear. Climbing route is long from camp. Only false summit can be seen from route.

Day 01: Today you will arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (T.I.A) in Kathmandu. We will assist you to the hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: We will visit the places of historical and cultural importance around Kathmandu. We will visit Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Patan Durbar square. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Today we drive on our private tourist bus to beautiful lake city Pokhara. The journey will be of about seven hours and we pass through beautiful countryside and landscape. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Today we drive for few hours from Pokhara to Beni through beautiful countryside and river. Then we trek the trail about five hours to reach Darbang (1120m). Stay overnight at Guest House.

Day 05: Today we trek uphill the trail through forest and small settlement. We pass through rhododendron forest, cultural villages, cultivated fields and farms to finally reach Takum (1650). Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 06: Today we continue our trek through forest of rhododendron rich with different species of birds. We cross several suspension bridges, trek through riverside and rough trail to finally reach Lamsang. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 07: Today again in the morning continues. We trek through rocky hill and superb landscape.   The view of the mountain range can be seen on the horizon. Resting and trekking we finally reach Gurja Gaon. Stay overnight at Guest House.

Day 08: Today we have a long way to go. We trek through forest, valley, hill and many cultural villages on the way. On the way we can explore the cultural lifestyle of the people in this area. We finally reach Darsing Kharka about seven hours of trek. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 09: Today we trek up the rocky trail through pine, fir and rhododendron forest. We trek the difficult and sleeper hilly track to reach Budzunge Kharka. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 10: Today we trek through icy trail and glacial rubble. With the panoramic view of mountain all around we trek through thin pine forest to finally reach Putha Himal Base Camp (4800). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 11–28: From today onwards we keep ourselves busy in the expedition of Putha Himchuli. We will be assisted by the expert climbers in the expedition. With the help of climbing gears and expert guidance we make our way into the top of Putha Himchuli at the height of 7246m from sea level. The atmosphere at the top is thin. Reaching the top is in itself is a victory. We spend time on the top and enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains and nature. After successful summit we return to the Putha Himal Base Camp. Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 29: Today we follow the return trail back to Budzunge Kharka. We pass the through stunning landscape on the way. Stay overnight at Guest House.

Day 30: Today we climb down the trail passing through many small villages and stunning landscape to finally reach Gurja Gaon in about six hours. Stay overnight at Guest House.

Day 32: Today the trail down the hill continues through forest, field, villalges and nature to finally reach Takum. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 33: Today the path descend down passing through river, valley, suspension bridges and local villlages to finally reach Darbang village. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 34: Today we trek down to Beni in about three hours. Then we drive back to Pokhara by our private bus. Then you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 35: Today we board on early morning flight to Kathmandu. The flight will be of about 35 minutes. The remainder of the day is your free time. You can stroll around tourist hubs and go for shopping. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 36: Today is your departure day. We will assist you to the airport prior to your flight.
