Manaslu area situated in the middle of Ganesh Himal Range in the east and Annapurna in the west offers all features of great adventure: enchanting culture, great mountains including Mt Manaslu (8163 m): the 8th highest mountain in the world; and some of the greatest walks in the Himalayan Mountains including enchanting Larkya Pass (5135mtr). Larkya Pass Trekking is challenging trekking trial in Nepal. Larkya pass is hidden area trekking of Nepalese Himalayas lies on the Manaslu region. The views of Manaslu (8163m), peak 29 (7879m) Himal Chuli (7893m) and Boudha (6672m) are wonderful here. Larkya Pass Trekking offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. Trekking in Manaslu region is one of the most spectacular treks in the Himalaya which is located in the eastern part of Nepal offering impressing natural scenery.

Larkya Pass Trek begin from the historic Centre of Gorkha after a 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu. The trail heads up the valley of the Buri Gandaki River through wild and uncharted country populated mainly by members of the Gurung ethnic group. The trail evades interesting Manaslu peak (8156m) crossing Larkya pass at (5100m) and then joins the river valley of the Dudh Khola and finally arises onto the Marsyangdi river valley along the main trail of Annapurna circuit. Continue descending along the Marsyangdi river valley through the rhododendron & oak forests and finally conclude the trek at Bhulbule and drive to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1360m.

Day 02: Kathmandu tour.

Day 03: Drive through countryside to Gorkha.

Day 04: Trail to Khanchowk.

Day 05: Trek through Khanchowk to Arughat 550m.

Day 06: Trek through Mordar village to Arket.

Day 07: Path from Arket to Machha Khola 869m.

Day 08: Machha Khola to Jagat 1400m.

Day 09: Trek pass through Aga, Lokwa to Deng village.

Day 10: Trek from Deng to Ghap 2165m.

Day 11: Trek from Ghap to Namrung 2630m.

Day 12: Trek from Namrung to Sama Gompa 3520m.

Day 13: Rest and acclimatization at Sama Gompa.

Day 14: Trek from Sama Gompa to Samdo 3875m.

Day 15: Trek from Samdo to Larkya La pass 5160m.

Day 16: Trek from Larkya Phedi to Bhimthang 3590m.

Day 17: Bhimthang to Forest camp.

Day 18: Through the Forest to Dharapani1963m.

Day 19: Trek through the Tal to Jagat village.

Day 20: Trek from Jagat to Bhulbule.

Day 21: Back to Kathmandu.

Day 22: Rest in Kathmandu.

Day 23: Final Departure.

Day 01: Upon arrival at Tribhuvan international airport, we transfer you to hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. A pre trip meeting and briefing will held all together with you at hotel about the daily program activities by company representative. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: The day will start with a directed tour of Kathmandu's ancient and spiritual key attractions; together with the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swaymbhunath) and then finally visit to Patan Durbar. Stay overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: This morning after breakfast we will start our journeys with drive through the beautiful river view & Nepalese countryside to reach at Gorkha, a countryside hill on the footsteps of Manaslu. Stay overnight at Hotel in Gorkha.

Day 04: We begin our first day walk with on the enjoyable trail to Khanchowk; the trek leads through close to the splendid palace fort of Gorkha, abundant farm villages and paddy fields with sporadic view of the snowy peaks of Manaslu and Himalchuli. Stay overnight at Hotel in Khanchowk.

Day 05: Our second day trek, is on the steady snaking path which leads to few short ups with more or less downhill walk, passing through more smaller farm villages and cultivated fields till we reach to more warmer sub-tropical area, coming to the large village of Arughat. Stay overnight at Hotel in Arughat.

Day 06: Today we continue our excursion onwards, we follow the Budi Gandaki river upstream, the path follows the right bank of Budi Gandaki, passing through cultivated land, with many scattered farmhouses and hamlets reaching the village of Mordar, Simre and then to Arket. After climbing to Kyoropani then descending once again we reach tributary at Soti Khola. Stay overnight at camp in Soti Khola.

Day 07: Today the path from here at times cuts into the steep valley, which is densely forested, passing through a number of small villages tucked into the hillside then our path descends to the wide, sandy riverbed to reach Machha Khola. Stay overnight at camp in Machha Khola.

Day 08: Machha Khola to Jagat: The trail leads to more interesting farm villages and fields as the vegetation changes slowly, heading upstream to the tiny village of Kholabesi and the hot springs at Tatopani. Climbing on a high path and then descending into open valley at place known as Yara Khola. Our journey continues on for another hour to the village of Jagat (1350m) for overnight.

Day 09: Firstly we descends to a long series of stone steps, the walk follows ups and down trail trails climbs slowly along the hillside passing through small settlements of Aga, Lokwa. The path follows up and down in some section the trail is cut into the sheer cliff walls, after this dramatic portion the track finally improves as the walk leads to Deng village. Stay overnight at Hotel in Deng.

Day 10: From Deng the houses and terrains completely changes into more Tibetan like here onwards. Our journey continues on this steep sided and impressive valley, coming across Mani prayer stone and finally at Ghap. Stay overnight at camp in Ghap.

Day 11: Today the trekking is pleasantly cool as we begin to gain height and enter the alpine forest. Passing through Lidana Glacier, with magnificent view of the snow peaks on the north Kutang Himal range with Pang Phuchin (6335m), and Saula Himal (6235m) and other unnamed peaks of over (6000m), we reach at farm villages Namrung passing the fir and rhododendrons forest. Stay overnight at camp in Namrung.

 Day 12: This day we pass the few small villages and continue trek further with a many snow caped mountain view, couple of hours further lead us to Sama Gompa village, with superb view of Mt. Manaslu. We’ll camp at near Gompa and explore the surrounding.

Day 13: This day is rest and relax day at the camp for acclimatization or you can spend the day hike up the lake, monastery or by relaxing and exploring Sama Gompa village. Stay overnight at camp in Sama Gompa.

Day 14: Today we cross a high plateau and skirt around the ridge of lateral moraine, climb a terraced hillside on the opposite bank of Budi Gandaki reaching one of the most remote permanent settlements in Nepal, at Samdo. Stay overnight at camp in Samdo.

Day 15: Today the track leads to more barren areas, walk begins on the wild mountain path, then ascending to the ridge we near the Larkya Glacier reaching Larkya Phedi, where there is a lodge, built to serve travellers crossing the Larkya –La. Stay overnight at lodge in Larkya La.

Day 16: The walk from Larkya Phedi towards the top of Larkya-La at (5135m) is gradual winding climb, we reach the ablation valley on the north side of the Larkya Glacier with magnificent views of Cho Danda and then of Larkya Peak. We walk across the moraines of the glacier, making a gradual ascent to the top of the pass. From the pass, outstanding views of Himlung, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru and Annapurna II can be seen. A long descend follows over snow on a moraine ridge path to Bhimthang. Stay overnight at camp in Bhimthang.

Day 17: Bhimthang to Forest camp: Through the forest of pines, rhododendron and summer pastures with occasional view of the nearby snow peaks. We descend and follow a trail through narrow valley and into serene forest and camp on the meadows amidst the forest. Stay overnight at camp in Forest.

Day 18: From here the track leads downhill through the forest, climbing through terraced fields to the Karche-La. We pass a number of villages and heavily forested valley to join the main trail of Annapurna circuit at Dharapani village. Stay overnight at lodge in Dharapani.

Day 19: Today we trek downstream follow the Marsyangdi river passing though the Tal and Chamje village with few steps up and down hill through the rive deep gorge and brings you at Jagat village for the overnight.

Day 20: Today the route follows the river passing some villages and crossing the river, waterfall and scenic landscapes walk up to the Bhulbule. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 21: Today we drive back to Kathmandu through the scenic view of the countryside and passing through headquarter of the Lamjung. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 22: This full day is leisure to rest, relax or explore the local area in Kathmandu or do a bit of last minute shopping. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 23: We will drop you to the Kathmandu International airport for your final departure from Nepal to your port of destination.
