Langtang Tamang heritage Gosaikunda circuit trek is a combined trek that offers both natural beauty and cultural touch. This fascinating trekking destination in the langtang region of Nepal is popular for its variety in natural landscape, warm hospitality of the Tamang heritage people and the transcendence of the mighty Himalayas. Langtang tamang heritage Gosaikunda circuit trek is also famous for its mesmerizing holy Gosaikunda Lake.  The Gosaikunda lakes are reflected holy by both Hindus and Buddhists alike and many Hindus make the pilgrimage to cleanse in the lakes during the August full moon festival of Janai Purnima.

Langtang Tamang Heritage Gosaikunda Circuit Trek is the newest trek designed by the locals of langtang valley in 2002 to improve the tourism into langtang region and to flourish there culture and offer there warm hospitality towards both national and international tourists.

Langtang Tamang Heritage Gosaikunda Circuit trek starts with a 7-8hours ride from Kathmandu to syabrubesi and then ascending towards langtang valley passing through various landscape of rhodendron forest and entire beauty of natural and cultural langtang region. Commencing this fascinating trek will leave you with an experience of both sightseeing and cultural tour into the high Himalayas of Nepal.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi.

Day 04: Trek from Syabrubesi to Ghatlang.

Day 05: Trek from Ghatlang to Tatopani.

Day 06: Trek from Tatopani to Thuman.

Day 07: Today we trek from Thuman to Briddim.

Day 08: Trek from Briddim to Lama Hotel and rest overnight.

Day 09: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang.

Day 10: Trek from Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa and hike all over to Kyanjing RI.

Day 11: Trek from Kyanjing Gompa to Tseko RI.

Day 12: Trek Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel.

Day 13: Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syapru.

Day 14: Rest and acclimatization day at Thulo Syapru.

Day 15: Trek from Thulo Syapru to Cholangpato.

Day 16: Today trek from Cholangpati to Gasaikunda.

Day 17: Trek from Gosaikunda passing Laurebinayak pass to Gopte.

Day 18: Trek from Gopte to Melamche Gaoun.

Day 19: Trek from Melamche Gaoun to Tarkeghyang.

Day 20: Trek from Tarke ghang to Sermanthang.

Day 21: Trek from Sermanthang to Kakani.

Day 22: Trek from Kakani to Melamche Bazar.

Day 23: Drive from Melamche Bazar to Kathmandu by local bus.

Day 24: Final Departure.

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu valley (1360m). Upon your arrival we assist you from international airport to our hotel. Enjoy the welcome programs and rest overnight.

Day 02: Today we offer you a full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour. We let you visit some of the most touristic destination such as Basantapur Durbar Square and some of the world heritage sites such as holy temple of Lord Shiva Pashupatinath and the Buddhist symbol Syambhu nath. At evening prepare for the trek and rest overnight.

Day 03: Today early morning after breakfast we drive for 7-8hours from Kathmandu all the way to Syabrubesi. Enjoy evening at local hotel and rest overnight.

Day 04: Today the first day of our trek. We start our trek from Syabrubesi walking for 5-6hours ascending all the way to Ghatlang. Enjoy evening welcome and dinner programs at a local village. Rest overnight. 

Day 05: Today we trek for 5hours from Ghatlang all the way to Tatopani. Enjoy the hot water pool at the chilling temperature. Rest overnight.

Day 06: Today we trek from 5-6hours passing through beautiful wilderness of natural landscape and green lush forest all the way from Tatopani to Thuman. Enjoy evening dinner and rest overnight.  

Day 07: Today we trek for 6hours from Thuman all the way to Briddim. Rest overnight.

Day 08: Today we trek from Briddim ascending all the way to Lama Hotel. Enjoy the dinner program and rest overnight.

Day 09: Today we trek from Lama Hotel ascending all the way to Langtang. Rest overnight.

Day 10: Today we trek for 6-7hours from Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa and then hike all over to Kyanjing RI (4770 m) overnight at Kyanjing (3800m).

Day 11: Today we trek from Kyanjing Gompa to Tseko RI hike (4984 m) and then hike back to Kyanjing. Rest overnight.

Day 12: Today we trek from Kyanjing Gompa descending all the way to Lama Hotel. Rest overnight.

Day 13: Today we trek for 4-5hours all the way from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syapru. Rest overnight.

Day 14: Rest and acclimatization day at Thulo Syapru. Explore the sightseeing sites and cultural places around. Rest overnight.

Day 15: Today we trek from Thulo Syapru walking for 5-6hours to Cholangpati (3500 m). Rest overnight.

Day 16: Today we trek for 5-6hours from Cholangpati to Gosaikunda also called frozen late (4200 m). Rest overnight.

Day 17: Today we trek for 6-8hours from Gosaikunda passing Laurebinayak pass (4610m) all the way to Gopte. Rest overnight.

Day 18: Today we trek for 6-7hours from Gopte all the way to Melamche gaoun. Rest overnight.

Day 19: Today we trek from Melamche gaoun walking for 4hours all the way to Tarkeghyang. Rest overnight.

Day 20: Today we trek for 4-5hours from Tarke ghang all the way to Sermanthang. Rest overnight.

Day 21: Today we trek for 4-5hours all the way from Sermanthang to Kakani. Rest overnight.

Day 22: Today we trek for 4-5hours from Kakani to Melamche bazar. Rest overnight.

Day 23: Today after lunch we drive from Melamche bazar to Kathmandu by local bus.  Rest overnight.

Day 24: Final departure to International airport. Farewell!!
