Kali Gandaki valley Trek is a famous trekking route in Annapurna region of Nepal situated between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Chain. During Kali Gandaki Valley trek you will enjoy a spectacular Himalayan views, world deepest George, desiccated landscape and mixed culture. The Thakali people who populate Kali Gandaki area are renowned for their generosity and for being cooperative hosts.

Kali Gandaki Valley trekking trail follows the Kali Gandaki River valley from the Hindu lowlands in the south to the Buddhist villages and people in the upper valley. At Tukuche you trek off the main trail and head to the outstanding Dhaulagiri ice fall where you are treated to superb views of the ice fall and across the deep valley to Annapurna. As you continue north towards Mustang and Tibet the scenery changes dramatically, the landscape becoming much drier and the river bed flared. At Muktinath you have time to walk around the famous Hindus and Buddhist temples and make a day trip to the base of Thorong La Pass before descending. Your trek end at Jomsom and with a spectacular mountain flight to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1334m), you will be transferred to hotel and briefed about Kali Gandaki valley trekking. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Today we travel by bus from Katmandu to Pokhara (915m) by tourist bus with a lot of natural beauty and Nepalese countryside to observe on route. Stay overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 03: Today we drive from Pokhara by private vehicle to Nayapul than start our trekking. Our destination today is to reach Hile/Tikhedhunga (1577m). On the way we can observe many villages and their cultural lifestyle and horse caravans. Stay overnight at local lodge in Tikedhunga.

Day 04: After breakfast we start our trek to Ghorepani (2810m). We will pass through many suspension bridges and small villages along the way. After crossing the bridges the trial gets steeper till large Magar village called Ulleri (2070m). During this climb Magnificent Annapurna South (7219m) and Mt. Fishtail (6997m) can be seen. It will take around six hours walk to reach Ghorepani form Tikhedhunga. Stay overnight in Ghorepani at teahouse Lodge.

Day 05: Early in the morning we  hike to Poon Hill (3210m) for superb Himalayan scenery including the Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri  (7041m), Fishtail/Machhapuchhre (6998m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II (7939m) , Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna south (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6986m),Tukuche peak (6920m) etc.  Then we make our way towards Shikha (1920m). Stay overnight at lodge in Shikha.

Day 06: Today we trek from Shikha trek to Tatopani (1179m) on a rough way. We will have the opportunity to enjoy hot water springs around Tatopani. The hot spring water is believed to cure skin diseases and heal pain and aches. Stay overnight at Tatopani.

Day 07: Today we trek up the route from Tatopani Ghasa (2013m). On the way we pass through many Gurung and Magar villages and we will observe their cultural lifestyle. Stay overnight at lodge in Ghasa.

Day 08: Today we trek up the rough rebelled track through rhododendron and oak forest watching birds and cultural lifestyle of the people in villages around we reach Larjung (2543m). Stay overnight at lodge in Larjung.

Day 09: Through many beautiful small villages’ en route and difficult track, we trek today to reach Marpha (2676m). Marpha is famous for its apple cultivation. We enjoy and observe the cultural lifestyle of people here. Stay overnight at lodge in Marpha.

Day 10: Leaving behind Marpha today we make our way towards Eklebhatti (2832m) with a lot of ups and downs on the way and through forest and chirping of birds. We make excursion around Kali Gandaki River. Stay overnight at lodge in Eklebhatti.

Day 11: Walking through rhododendron and oak forest watching birds and small settlements around we make our way towards Kagbeni (2840m). We can enjoy horse riding at Kagbeni. Stay overnight at lodge in Kagbeni.

Day 12: Through the track on rocky hills on the foot of mountains we make our way towards Muktinath Temple (3802m) enjoying the memorable and mesmerizing view of mountains on the lap of mountains. Stay overnight at lodge in Muktinath.

Day 13: In the morning we visit Muktinath temple and explore the nature and its beauty around Muktinath temple then we make our way towards Jomsom (2713m). We can enjoy the strong wind blow in Jomsom. Stay overnight at Jomsom bazaar.

Day 14: From Jomsom we take a short flight back to Pokhara (915m). We explore around Pokhara and visit places like Fewa lake, Begnas lake etc. On a clear day we can see get a close look at Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna from Pokhara.  Stay overnight at Pokhara.

Day 15: Today we drive on a tourist bus via Prithivi Highway from Pokhara to Katmandu. After a journey of about nine hours we reach Kathmandu and take rest in hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 16: After breakfast, we will move on for historical monuments sightseeing in Kathmandu valley such as Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu durbar square and Monkey temple (Swaymbhunath) and in the evening farewell dinner in Restaurant. Stay overnight at Kathmandu in Hotel.

Day 17: Today we will assist you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your return flight to home.
