Gokyo Valley trek is one of the most popular, traditional and outstanding trek into Khumbu region of Nepal. This fascinating trek offers you with magnificent view of mighty Himalaya’s including Mt Everest (8848m), Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Makalu and many more cultural and natural sightseeing sites. Gokyo valley trek situated at Everest region of Nepal is famous for its captivating view of ice Lake of Gokyo, extravagant view of Kalapatter and the flawless view of Mt Everest. Gokyo is flourished with snow covered landscape, Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest in the Nepal Himalayas, cultural villages of Sherpa people, religious sites and old monuments of Buddhist culture and the warm hospitality of the inhabitants. 

Gokyo Valley trek starts with an exotic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (3200m), one of the most adventurous airstrip around the world. We then ascend our trek into the Sherpa cultural villages all the way to Gokyo Valley. The trek is organized and the trekking trail is flourished with adventure, excitement and the most beautiful natural landscape throughout the region. Commencing this fascinating trek will leave you with mesmeric experience of both cultural and natural sightseeing around the high Himalayas of Nepal.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu valley1360m.

Day 02: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla 2810m.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding 2640m to Namche Bazaar3440m.

Day 04: Rest and acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole 3620m.

Day 06: Trek from Dole to Machhermo 4440m.

Day 07: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo 4750m.

Day 08: Early morning trek through Gokyo RI and back to Gokyo.

Day 09: Trek from Gokyo to Phortse 3860m.

Day 10: Trek from Phortse to Namche.

Day 11: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla.

Day 12: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu valley.

Day 13: Final Departure.

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu valley (1360m). Upon your arrival we assist you from international airport to our hotel. Enjoy the cultural programs for your welcome and dinner function. Rest overnight.       

Day 02: Today early in the morning we fly a scenic Mountain Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2810m). After a short rest we start our Trek ascending all the way to Phakding (2,640 m). Rest overnight.

Day 03: Today we trek for 4-5hours from Phakding all the way to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m). Namche Bazaar is also known as the Gate way town to Everest. Explore around and shop some of the essential lest for the trek. Rest overnight.

Day 04: Rest and acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3,440 m). Explore the sightseeing and cultural sites around the village. Rest overnight.

Day 05: Today early in the morning after breakfast we ascend our trek from Namche Bazaar all the way to Dole (3,620 m). Rest overnight.

Day 06: Today we trek from Dole ascending the trail and walking for 5-6hours all the way to Machhermo (4,440 m). Rest overnight.

Day 07: Today the most important day of our trek. We ascend our trekking trail trekking from Machhermo all the way to Gokyo (4,750 m). Enjoy the hospitality and evening dinner programs and rest overnight.

Day 08: Today early in the morning our trek ascend to Gokyo- RI And then climb Back to Gokyo (4,750 m). This is the highest point of the trek. Enjoy the classic view of Mt Everest and others mighty Himalayas of Nepal. Rest overnight.

Day 09: Today our trek descend from Gokyo all the way to Phortse (3,860 m). Rest overnight.

Day 10: Today our trek descend from Phortse walking for 5-6hours all the way to Namche (3,440 m). Enjoy the rest and hospitality of the Sherpa people and rest overnight.

Day 11: Today we trek for 5-6hours descending from Namche Bazaar all the way to Lukla (2,810 m). Rest overnight.

Day 12: Today we fly a scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu valley. Explore Leisure time in Kathmandu valley. Sightsee the most beautiful sightseeing sites and world heritage sites around. Rest overnight.

Day 13: Final Departure. Farewell!!
